MAD exhibition pieces

Today at re:vision we thought we’d supply a little more information about our jewellery pieces currently featured at the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, in the ‘Multiple Exposures’ exhibition.
The first pieces are three abstract ‘corrosion’ brooches, featuring original photographic images of weathered and corroded subjects, sublimated onto brushed steel. The second grouping are three recycled camera lens cuffs, each handmade from disassembled camera parts, cut and formed and polished by our own Craig Arnold. Each of these pieces are unique in concept and production and having seen the depth of work currently being exhibited, we are very pleased at just how well these re:vision pieces sit within the exhibition theme and yet are entirely original.
It turns out that the Museum of Arts and Design is one the best places to see contemporary jewellery in New York, and the fact that they are now stocking some of our re:vision pieces in their art store is an even more exciting development. The ‘Multiple Exposures’ exhibition will run until September, featuring works from every continent, so put it in your itinerary if you are heading to the U.S. anytime soon.
